Benefits & Treatment Areas
Laser hair removal is a versatile treatment that reduces unwanted hair while improving the overall look and feel of your skin across multiple areas of the body. It offers long-term reduction of unwanted hair while leaving skin smoother and less prone to irritation. The treatment also helps prevent ingrown hairs, provides more precision than shaving or waxing, and saves time in your daily routine. Each session is customized to your unique skin tone for safe and effective results.
Common treatment areas include the face, such as the upper lip, chin, and sideburns, as well as underarms, legs, bikini and Brazilian, arms, back and chest, and the neck and jawline.
What to Expect & Results Timeline
Laser hair removal treatments are quick and well-tolerated, with most clients describing the sensation as a light snapping feeling on the skin. Appointment times vary depending on the treatment area, typically ranging from 10 to 60 minutes. There is little to no downtime, although mild redness or sensitivity may occur immediately after treatment and usually subsides within a few hours.
Because hair grows in cycles, multiple sessions are required for optimal results. Most clients begin to notice visible reduction after 1 to 3 sessions, with the best results typically achieved in 6 to 8 treatments spaced several weeks apart. Over time, hair grows back finer, lighter, and more sparse, with occasional maintenance sessions recommended based on your hair type and long-term goals.
Thermokinetic Selectivity Process
The Alexandrite wavelength (755 nm) and the Nd:YAG wavelength (1064 nm) target hair follicles, unwanted veins and benign pigmented lesions and treat sun-damaged skin. For example, in the case of hair removal, our long pulse infrared laser takes full advantage of the principle of Thermokinetic Selectivity, which accounts for the heat diffused by a target after laser energy has been absorbed. It is related to the target’s volume: absorbed energy (heat) dissipates through thermal transfer more slowly from a large target than from a smaller target of the same chromophore.
